Ahead of CEO Sam Altman's ouster from OpenAI, several employees wrote a letter to the board about project 'Q*' (pronounced Q-Star), a powerful artificial intelligence discovery, Reuters reported. In that letter, they expressed concerns about Q*'s future use and how it could threaten humanity. The new model was able to solve certain mathematical problems on the level of grade-school students.
