Indian startup Sarvam AI, founded in 2023, has emerged as a major player following the release of its OCR model Sarvam Vision and text-to-speech model Bulbul V3. Recently, Co-Founder Pratyush Kumar claimed Sarvam Vision surpassed other tech giants like Google's Gemini, Anthropic's Claude and ChatGPT on word accuracy on 22 Indian languages. Meanwhile, Bulbul V3 offers over 30 voices.
