SpaceX has quietly launched Starfall, a new reusable return capsule designed to bring cargo, research and space-manufactured products back to Earth. The disk-shaped capsule reportedly measures about 3.1 metres in diameter and weighs roughly 2,100 kilograms, and can carry up to 1,000 kilograms of payload. SpaceX's Falcon 9 launched the Starfall Demo mission to low-Earth orbit on Tuesday.
