Scientists say a massive 8,046 km-long ocean heatwave in the Pacific is strengthening El Nino. This warm stretch runs from Micronesia to California and is called 'The Blob' near the US coast. Warm winds and ocean pattern changes are adding to its strength. Experts warn this could become one of the strongest El Nino events in over 140 years.
