Telangana is celebrating its state formation day on June 2. Keeping the grand celebrations in mind, a full dress rehearsal is taking place in Hyderabad today. On June 2, 2014, by the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act 2014, Telangana was officially declared the 29th state of India. Since then, this day has been celebrated as Telangana Formation Day.
