Billionaire Elon Musk recently launched Tesla's self-driving taxi service in US' Austin and said that these robotaxis will be remotely accessed and controlled by humans, or teleoperated. Teleoperation is when a human controls a machine from a different location. Alphabet's Waymo, had earlier revealed that its fleet of humans responds to queries raised by the Waymo Driver- its bot.
