Elon Musk announced "Terafab" project that will produce over 1 terawatt of compute every year. It is a $20-$25 billion initiative to build the world's largest chip manufacturing facility. It is designed to produce advanced chips for AI, robotics, autonomous vehicles and space-based computing. The facility will produce high-specification 2-nanometer chips. Terafab will be developed in US' Texas.
