The case began in 2024 when Mumbai Police uncovered a mephedrone-manufacturing facility in Sangli, seizing 126 kg mephedrone worth ₹252 crore, Hindustan Times reported. The facility was allegedly run by wanted drug trafficker Salim Dola. Orry’s name emerged after arrest of Dola’s aide, Suhail Shaikh, who claimed he organised raves for Bollywood celebrities. Orry is summoned to explain his role.
