What is the 'dancing eyes' condition?

'Dancing eyes' also known as nystagmus is a condition where a person's eyes make rapid, repetitive and uncontrolled movements. The eyes may move side to side, up and down, in a circle, and drift in one direction and then jerk in the opposite direction. Sometimes people are born with it, but people can also develop it later in life.
