The per plate cost of a veg thali stood at ₹26.3 in June, whereas a non-veg thali costed ₹60, according to Crisil's monthly indicator of food plate cost. The cost of veg and non-veg thali, which had been on a decline since October 2022, rose on a sequential basis in last two months amid rising tomato, tur and gram prices.
