The FIFA World Cup trophy is made of solid 18-carat gold. It stands 36.8cm tall, weighs 6.175kg and has a 13cm-wide base featuring two bands of semi-precious green malachite. The bands have been restored several times, while fresh gold plating has also been applied. FIFA World Cup trophy's gold content is now worth around ₹6.1 crore, according to LSEG.
