Rhea Chakraborty, Bharti Singh, Elvish Yadav and others have been summoned for promoting HiBox app which was accused of a massive ₹500-crore scam. The app allegedly lured investors with promises of guaranteed returns. The platform delivered high returns for a while but began withholding payments from July. Police alleged the company shut its offices and vanished with the funds.
