CBI Judge BH Loya, who was hearing the Sohrabuddin Sheikh encounter case in which BJP President Amit Shah was accused, passed away in December 2014. Citing Loya's post-mortem report, Nagpur Police said the judge died of cardiac arrest. However, Judge Loya's family claimed they spotted blood stains on his shirt and said he may have suffered a head injury.
