The Supreme Court is hearing a plea filed by Shafin Jahan challenging the Kerala High Court order, which annulled his marriage to Hadiya, previously named Akhila, on grounds that it was 'love jihad'. The HC order came after Hadiya's parents petitioned that she was forcefully converted from Hinduism to Islam, and was being recruited for ISIS' mission in Syria.
