What is the Olympic motto?
short by Anmol Sharma / on Thursday, 11 July, 2024
The original Olympic motto was made up of three Latin words: Citius - Altius - Fortius, meaning Faster - Higher - Stronger. In 2021, International Olympic Committee added the word 'Communiter' (together) to it to recognise unifying power of sport & importance of solidarity. The motto now reads 'Citius, Altius, Fortius – Communiter' ('Faster, Higher, Stronger – Together').
