Jerusalem, central to the Israel-Palestine conflict, is considered a holy site by Jews, Muslims and Christians. Christians regard the Church of the Holy Sepulchre central to the story of Jesus, his death, crucifixion and resurrection while the Haram al-Sharif is considered Islam's third holiest site. Jews believe that the Temple Mount was the location from where the world was created.
