Security forces gunned down three terrorists in J&K under 'Operation Mahadev'. Mahadev Peak, part of Zabarwan Range, holds strategic and spiritual value. The peak is revered locally and is a popular trekking route. It overlooks Lidwas and Mulanar. According to Chinar Corps, contact with terrorists was established in general area of Lidwas. Mahadev is also another name for Lord Shiva.
