Burned-out young workers in China are cultivating bananas on their desks to fight work stress, in a trend known as "stop banana green". The bananas are bought when they are green with stems still attached, allowing them to be cultivated in vases of water. This process of waiting for bananas to ripen is considered a fun distraction from work stress.
