The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), which emerged as the single-largest party with 75 seats in the Bihar Assembly election, also had the highest vote share of 23.1%. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which won 74 seats, had a vote share of 19.5%. The JD(U) won 15.4%, Congress 9.48%, LJP 5.66%, AIMIM 1.24% and 'others' 18.85%.
