What is werewolf syndrome?

Werewolf syndrome, or hypertrichosis, is characterised by abnormal hair growth across the body. This rare condition can result in hair covering the entire face and body or appearing in isolated patches. Lalit Patidar, a teenager from Madhya Pradesh who suffers from this condition, had earlier shared in interviews that he was bullied as a child due to it.
