What is Zellweger Syndrome?

As per the Cleveland Clinic, Zellweger syndrome is a genetic disorder passed from parents to children. Newborns can have brain, liver and kidney problems, and difficulty moving. Symptoms of ZS usually appear soon after birth. Facial abnormalities common in ZS include a high forehead, underdeveloped eyebrow ridges, a flattened face, seizures, epicanthal folds, and hearing and vision problems.
