West Bengal saw an impressive 89.99% turnout in Phase 2 as voters turned out in huge numbers across key battleground seats in South Bengal and Kolkata. The phase is crucial for both ruling TMC and BJP, making the contest highly competitive. Strong grassroots campaigning, intense rivalry and high public interest helped push turnout well above 2021 level for same constituencies.
