VB-G RAM G scheme will focus on four categories of rural work, viz., water security projects, core rural infrastructure, livelihood-related infrastructure and extreme weather mitigation works. Govt says all projects will be linked to 'Viksit Gram Panchayat Plans' set by villages and approved by Gram Sabhas. Existing MGNREGA works will continue during transition while new projects can also begin.
