The Maharashtra Legislative Council admitted a breach of privilege motion against comedian Kunal Kamra and summoned him before its Privileges Committee on February 5. The matter concerns his 2025 parody song calling Deputy CM Eknath Shinde a traitor. Kamra said the hearing was postponed, not at his request. "Nine members of the legislature to discuss one joke," he said.
