The Centre has written to states suggesting several steps to deal with the Omicron COVID-19 variant, including imposition of curbs for districts with over 10% positivity rate. The Centre has stressed on containment, test, track, surveillance, clinical management, vaccination, community engagement and COVID-19 appropriate behaviour. It also suggested constant review of district-level COVID-19 data.
