US Pentagon has threatened to remove Anthropic from its systems if the company doesn't allow its technology's unrestricted use, said CEO Dario Amodei. Pentagon also threatened to label Anthropic a "supply chain risk", and to invoke Defense Production Act. Calling the threats "contradictory", Dario said, "One labels us a security risk; the other labels Claude as essential to national security."
