India beat Pakistan by five runs in final of inaugural T20 World Cup on September 24, 2007. Gautam Gambhir and debutant Yusuf Pathan opened for India. They were followed by Robin Uthappa and Yuvraj Singh. MS Dhoni was captain, while Rohit Sharma was a middle-order batter. The XI also included Irfan Pathan, Harbhajan Singh, Joginder Sharma, Sreesanth and RP Singh.
