FTII student Chidananda's 'Sunflowers Were the First Ones to Know...' bagged 'La Cinef' award. Director Shyam Benegal's 'Manthan' was showcased at Cannes. Cinematographer Santosh Sivan received the Pierre Angénieux Tribute Award.
