The 75th Republic Day parade at Kartavya Path witnessed over 100 women artists playing Indian musical instruments instead of military bands. The first-ever all-women tri-service contingent marched down the Kartavya Path. Major Jerry Blaize and Captain Supreetha CT became the first couple to march together at a Republic Day parade, and 1,900 sarees from every part of India were displayed.
