Ousted CBFC Chairman Pahlaj Nihalani, after his appointment in 2015, released a list of words that would no longer be 'allowed' in movies, including 'f*ck' and 'Bombay'. He had also ordered 89 cuts for the 2016 film 'Udta Punjab' and removal of all references to Punjab. Recently, he denied certification to 'Lipstick Under My Burkha', saying the film is "lady-oriented".
