The BJP had the largest vote share in both the 2014 and 2024 Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections at 22.98% and 25.64%, respectively. In 2024 polls, the National Conference secured a 23.43% vote share, which is higher than its vote share of 20.77% in 2014. Congress' vote share decreased in 2024 to 11.97% as compared to 18.01% in 2014.
