What will happen during Artemis II's 7-hour flyby around the Moon?

Artemis II's lunar flyby will begin at 12:15 am IST (April 7), with astronauts observing 35 science targets. At 4:14 am, a communications blackout of around 40 minutes will begin as Orion passes behind Moon, reaching closest approach at 4:32 am and maximum Earth distance at 4:37 am. A solar eclipse will be visible from Orion from 6:05 am-7:02 am.
