What will happen if earthquake strikes during journey of India's 1st bullet train?

The Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train corridor will have 28 seismometers to detect earthquakes and provide early warning. In such case, the system will automatically cut power in the affected section, prompting trains there to activate emergency brakes. This is based on Japan's Shinkansen technology. The first bullet train service is targeted to be launched on the Surat-Vapi section in August 2027.
