Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is laying off 12,000 employees, primarily affecting middle and senior management. The company said that the affected employees will receive payments for their notice periods along with an additional severance package. TCS will also look to extend insurance benefits and offer outplacement opportunities for the impacted employees.
