A bug in WhatsApp messaging service reportedly allowed hackers to take over users' app when they answered an incoming video call. The vulnerability, which affected apps both on iOS and Android, was discovered in late August and fixed by Facebook in early October. The bug was discovered by researchers at the Google Project Zero.
