WhatsApp chat of slain gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed threatening a Lucknow-based builder saying, "sabka hisab hoga (everyone will be accounted for)," was accessed by Times Now. The alleged chat is from January 2023, when Atiq was inside the jail in Gujarat. Atiq also wrote, "My sons will not become doctors or lawyers," pointing at his sons' involvement in his businesses.
