WhatsApp has introduced a new feature called Message Summaries, which uses Meta AI to privately and quickly summarise unread messages in a chat. It uses Private Processing technology, which ensures Meta or WhatsApp never see the private messages or the summaries. No one else in the chat can see that the user summarised unread messages, WhatsApp said.
