Meta-owned WhatsApp has launched 'Business AI' in India to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) manage customer engagement on WhatsApp Business app. The AI-powered feature can respond to customer queries round the clock, capture leads, book appointments and assist sales. Businesses will retain control over chats and can take over conversations from the AI whenever required, the company said.
