WhatsApp is testing new updates for iOS which would introduce new splash screens, improvements in the app badge and hide muted status update, reports WABetaInfo. Muted status updates will disappear from the screen altogether which can be revived from the muted updates tab. Moreover, the new splash screen would let users see the WhatsApp logo whenever they open the app.
