WhatsApp to charge businesses per message from October 1

WhatsApp will introduce per-message pricing for businesses using its Business Platform in India from October 1. Charges will vary by message type and interaction, with marketing messages generally costing more than utility messages. Meta has asked businesses to add a payment method by September 30, warning that service messages could be stopped from October 1 if they fail to do so.
