WhatsApp to soon let users pay bills in India

WhatsApp has introduced bill payments in India, allowing users to pay their household and utility bills within the app, the company said. The feature is being gradually rolled out to users across India and will be available to all Android and iOS users in the coming weeks, it added. It will provide access to about 22,722 billers across 30 categories.
