Next Chief Justice of India (CJI) BR Gavai said he convened a full court with CJI Sanjiv Khanna's permission, after the Pahalgam terror attack, which left 26 dead. "When country is in danger, Supreme Court can't be aloof, we're part of the country...We immediately announced a two-minute silence across the Supreme Court to pay homage to the victims," said Gavai.
