Historically, gold prices in India have been below ₹1 lakh/10 grams until 2025, remaining under this threshold in every prior decade, Moneycontrol reported. However, gold prices currently are at ₹1,43,781/10 grams. "Honestly, most experts don't see gold crashing back to ₹1 lakh anytime soon," gold buying platform Augmont said, adding that gold may stay above ₹1.4-1.5 lakh/10 grams through 2026.
