A new report by Deloitte has found that 86% consumers now recognise gold and jewellery as core wealth-creating assets, equalling MFs and equities, which stand at 87%. About 16% of younger consumers make purchases for fashion, while 56% of consumers make them for both investment and fashion. Over half of Gen Z consumers prefer silver jewellery while 34% prefer platinum.
