Ahmedabad, Pune and Kolkata were the most affordable housing markets in the first half of 2024, as per a Knight Frank India report that analysed the country's top eight cities. Mumbai was the least affordable housing market. The report's affordability index tracks the proportion of income a household requires to fund a housing unit's EMI in a particular city.
