According to Nomad Passport Index 2025, Ireland has dethroned Switzerland as the country with the world's strongest passport. Switzerland and Greece tied for the second spot while Portugal ranked fourth. Meanwhile, Malta and Italy tied at the fifth spot and Luxembourg, Finland and Norway tied at the seventh place. India's ranking dropped from 147 in 2024 to 148 in 2025.
