Singapore has become the world's freest economy after dethroning Hong Kong for the first time since 1970, said Canadian think-tank Fraser Institute. The list of world's top freest economies include Switzerland, New Zealand, US, Ireland, Denmark, Australia, UK and Canada. Economic freedom index is measured on ease of international trade, freedom to enter and compete in markets, among others.
