India is the world's third most polluted country after Bangladesh and Pakistan, as per IQAir's World Air Quality Report 2023. Tajikistan and Burkina Faso are on the fourth and fifth spots, followed by Iraq, UAE, Nepal, Egypt and Democratic Republic of Congo, the report said. India's PM2.5 concentration of 54.4 μg/m3 was 10 times higher than WHO's limit.
