United States has clinched the top spot in the list of best-placed countries for travel and tourism, according to the World Economic Forum (WEF). Other countries in top 10 were Spain, Japan, France, Australia, Germany, United Kingdom, China, Italy and Switzerland. While there has been a rebound in travel and tourism post COVID-19, non-leisure demand is still lagging, WEF said.
