Saudi Arabia has the highest number of Indians in its jails at 2,633, followed by UAE (2,518), Nepal (1,317), Qatar (611), Kuwait (387) and Malaysia (338), as per Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh. There are 288 Indians in jails in the UK and 266 in Pakistan. Bahrain has 181 jailed Indians, while China has 173.
